The Philips / Laerdal HeartStart HS1 AED is a biphasic AED. And 'under the name "HeartStart", "HeartStart Home" or "HeartStart HS1" sold. The EDA has allowed the distinction of being the first AED approved by the FDA, not a prescription in the United States. *********************** StatReview project is an educational initiative for the rescuers with automated external defibrillators (AEDs) that can be used in their workplace, family homes or public places. The projectprovides a short video of how the power of AEDs, provides the opportunity to hear the vote expected and how to administer a shock of relief. These videos are not a substitute for CPR / AED training, which are easily available through local educational institutions.
